Visual identity and website design for Helsinki based contemporary dancer and performance artist Iiris Puustinen. Iiris is working extensively in the fields of dance, choreography and performing arts both working with choreographers and developing her own artistry. She was one of the artists selected to take part of the Generation 2023-exhibition at Amos Rex contemporary art museum in Helsinki.
The CSS-based glass effects makes it possible to watch movement through layered content. The concept for the visual identity is for the movement of the dancer to define the visual expression by constantly being present in the background behind glass elements. For instance, instead of a precoded fixed color palette, here the movement and colours of the dancer define the edges and colours of the graphics.
